Land Use & Infrastructure and Climate Change Adaptation

Land use planning and infrastructure investment decisions have enormous impacts on our vulnerability to climate change and the costs of climate impacts. Tools such as Cal-Adapt will help resource planners identify where and what impacts are likely to occur to guide planning and investment decisions going forward. In spring 2012, the California Energy Commission will release a statewide vulnerability assessment to further guide land use and infrastructure decisions.
