Land Use and Infrastructure

Land use and infrastructure planning and development are key components of the state's effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Several programs have been put into place as guidance for local communities to change general land use patterns, reduce vehicle miles traveled and develop more sustainable communities. Land use and infrastructure planning are also crucial components of responding to the impacts of climate change.
